The virtue of fasting the Day of Ashura (the 10th of Muharram)

Description

Abu Qatadah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah, sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam was asked about the day of ‘Arafah, He, said: I hope from Allah, expiates for the sins of the year before and the year after.
