Voluntary Charity

An article in Arabic excerpted from the book "Summarized Islamic Fiqh" of Sheikh Muhammad ibn Ibrahim Al-Tuwajre (may Allah preserve him). It handles the following points about voluntary charity or alms: Reason of legislation, rulings, virtues, etiquette, those who deserve to receive it, best times to pay it, paying it to disbelievers, unnecessarily asking people for money, a woman's charity from her husband's money, giving alms to beggars, those allowed to ask for charity, and having rewards of alms that paid before embracing to Islam.
