A chapter translated into English excerpted from the Book "Al-Adhkar" of Imam Nawawi. This chapter is concerned with mentioning the recommended speeches as prayers, supplication, etc. and the forbidden ones as backbiting, gossiping, and slander, based on the Quranic and Prophetic tradition that command guarding the tongue from evil speech. This chapter was checked and verified by Sh. Salim al-Hilaali. In his verification, he provides a grade for each hadeeth and a discussion about the related hadith’s authenticity or weakness.

Muslims have annually two days where all people from every city meet each together, men, women, or children, and turn to Allah with their hearts in unity, praying behind one Imam, making takbeer, tahleel and supplicating to Allah sincerely together as if they were united upon the heart of one man while being happy and joyous about the blessing Allah has bestowed on them.

A most rewarding and fulfilling part of a Muslim’s worship are those blessed moments that he spends praying in the depth of the night, privately addressing his Great Lord, sincerely glorifying Him, humbly imploring Him - beseeching His forgiveness and asking Him for favors. The voluntary "night prayer", or qiyaam, is indispensable for a person’s moral, spiritual, and physical welfare. Yet, it is greatly misunderstood and largely neglected by most Muslims
