This is a lecture delivered by Dr. Saleh ibn Abdul-Aziz Al-Sheik. He shows the methodology of Islam regarding belief, worship, jurisprudence, system of rule, morals, economy, social aspects, international relationship and other aspects.
Muhammad has become a target for Islam’s long-established adversaries and their armies of missionaries and orientalists who have aroused suspicions and propagated allegations against the Prophet of Islam and his Message. Their objective has always been to distort the image of the Prophet of Islam in the eyes of those who do not know him and consequently drive them away from studying Islam and contemplating it in a desperate attempt to lay obstacles in the path of Islam’s mission so as to impede its vital role in guiding humanity.
The author says in the introduction, "Every day the sun shines on new people recognizing the truth and returning to their Creator in repentance and submission to Him. They are ambitious for his reward of eternal happiness in Paradise. These new followers give a new flavor to the Muslims of today with their sincerity, keenness and solid adherence to the teaching of Islam. From their vast experiences in the past, they command strong endurance and a particular understanding of their newly found path of truth to which God has guided them, finding their way with easiness and surety in life."
The author said in the beginning of the book, "The need for a deeper understanding of Islam in order to achieve excellence clearly applies to Muslims in America. They have exceptional potential. They are intelligent, industrious, and uniquely promising, yet, like undiscovered mines of gold and silver."
In this book, the author touches the lives of those Christians who have not been given the knowledge the author have gained both about Islam, from his direct contact with Muslims, and about Christianity from his seminary education. The author digs deep into the roots of Christianity to bring out obscure information that highlight what was once common between Christianity and Islam.
