    Shaikh Abu Al-Kamal ــ sometimes nicknamed himself Abu Al-Hasan ــ Abd Al-Ghani ibn Muhammad Abd Al-Khaliq ibn Hasan ibn Mustafa Al-Misri Al-Qahiri. He was born, raised and died in Cairo, Egypt. He was born (may Allah have mercy on him) in 17th March 1908, and died in 18th Shawwal 1403 AH, 28th July 1983 at the age of 75 and four months. He authored many books and supervised about five hundred Masters and PhDs. He taught at some Saudi, Iraqi, Moroccan and Libyan universities.
