One of the greatest blessings that Allah has blessed mankind with is the blessing of family. If Allah wanted to He could have created mankind to reproduce asexually, but it is of the blessings and miracles of Allah that He created us in pairs of male & female so that we can find comfort and peace in one another. The family is the building block of society but with every blessing comes responsibility & trials and so each spouse needs to work to ensure their marriage is the best marriage! Shaykh Yasir Qadhi dedicates his khutbah to the rights & responsibilities of a Muslim couple.

I welcome you to our ‘Like A Garment’ e-book, an initiative that seeks to educate Muslims to find conjugal bliss in their marriages. The initiative is called ‘Like A Garment’, from the famous Quranic phrase of spouses being like garments to one another. The website has two aims: to disseminate information about this topic (which will, Insha Allah, be beneficial to all Muslims, single and married), and to garner, via anonymous questionnaires, the problems and concerns that the Muslims of our times are facing in this area (which will help me better prepare future lectures).

Happiness is a feeling that resides in the heart. It is characterized by peace of mind, tranquility, a sense of well-being, and a relaxed disposition. It comes as a result of proper behavior, both inward and outward, and is inspired by strong faith. This is attested to by the Qur’ân and Sunnah. Happy marriages are fundamental to a stable family and for personal well being. This book is specifically written for men so that inshallah they can have successful marriages.

Mufti : Muhammad ibn Saleh al-Othaimeen Reviewing : Osama Emara
A question answered by Shaikh Muhammad Saleh Al-Uthaimeen regarding: "Is it allowed for a married couple to speak through the telephone about sex and to excite each other so much that one of them or both get an orgasm (without their hands, because that is not allowed). This happens because the man is living abroad for work and they see each other only once every four month and they miss each other very much.
- English Mufti : Muhammad Salih Al-Munajjid
A question answered by Shaikh Muhammad Salih Al-Munajjid regarding: "I divorced my wife irrevocably but I want to take her back. I know that tahleel marriage (i.e., marriage to another man in order to get divorced from him so that she can go back to her first husband) is haraam, and that in order for me to marry her again, she has to marry another person in a genuine marriage, not one that is a trick in order to make it permissible for me to marry her. All of these things will take time. Is there any other, shorter way for me to take her back?"
