The Book Of Prayer: Salaat (Prayer) is one of the main obligations which Allah (subhanahu wa ta’ala) has ordained on His servants. It is the first act of worship decreed on the Muslim Nation (Ummah) by Allah (subhanahu wa ta’ala) and was ordained on the night of the Prophet’s (peace be upon him) ascension to the seven heavens. It is the second of the five pillars of Islam after the proclamation of the “Shahada” (the words of witness).

Thus this book would, Allah Willing, gather whatever is relevant to each topic from the various contents of the books of Hadith and the books on the differences between the Madhhabs, such that the correct verdicts found in this book would not be found totally in any one Madhhab. Hence the one acting on it, Allah Willing, would be among those whom Allah had guided "by His Grace to the Truth concerning that in which they differed, for Allah guides whom He will to a path that is straight."

The author, may Allah have mercy on him, said " Many people don't know the rulings of prostration for forgetfulness (Sujood of Sahoo); some people don't perform the obligatory prostration of forgetfulness, and some others don't perform the prostration of forgetfulness in its due time. Therefore, it so important to learn its ruling, especially for the imams of prayer.
