Rules of Quran Interpretation

• Surah Al-Fatihah is a Makki surah. • Similar to how Allah differentiated between the ranks of His Messengers by making some better than the rest, like making our Messenger (ﷺ) the Leader of the children of Adam; Allah made Surah Al-Fatihah better than any other Surah in the Qur’an, the Injil and the Tawrah. • Despite its short length, it is still the greatest Surah in comparison to other comparatively long Surahs, just like how the Ayat ul-Kursi is the greatest Ayah, despite longer Ayah’s existing. • Despite this Surah being the speech of Allah, it was revealed so that people could learn how to invoke Allah in the best manner. • This Surah is the most excellent cure for sickness from everything.

A book in English shows the rules of interpretation of the Noble Quran. It is based on the book "Principles of Quran Interpretation" written by the honorable Sheikh Ibn Al-Uthaymeen (may Allah have mercy on him).
