Trials and Tribulations

This book is an amended transcript of one of the many, many sittings with the illustrious Shaykh, where he was asked about the issue of Takfeer. The sitting took place in Jordan. The transcript was amended by the Shaykh to make it suitable for print.

A book in English reminds us that worldly difficulties are a trial for believers to upgrade their levels in Paradise or expiate their sins. It also teaches how appropriate behaviors and correct attitudes can change adversities to a worthwhile opportunity to achieve Allah’s pleasure through patience and gratitude whereas impatience and ingratitude can worsen one’s troubles. It also explains the futility of invoking Prophets or the dead to remove hardships and encourages asking Allah alone to overcome one’s crises.

A speech translated into English delivered by Sh. Saleh Aal-Sheikh (may Allah protect him) in which he mentioned the essential guidelines from the Prophetic sunnah and his companions on how a Muslim should think and behave in situations of tribulations, trials, and calamities.

A book translated into English shows that this present universe will end someday and it is a part of our faith to believe in the hereafter and its signs that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) foretold about. In this book, Imam Ibn Kathir mentioned Resurrection Day's signs and the events that would take place on that day.

A refutation against those who deny the appearance of Mahdi, the coming of Dajjaal, and the descent of the Messiah at the end of time.
