Acts of Worship

An audio book in Arabic confirms that each act of worship has a certain way to perform which Allah or his Prophet (peace be upon him) clarified so it shows and describes in detail the Prophet's prayer. It urges every Muslim to imitate the Prophet as in his saying, "Pray as you saw me pray."

It is obvious for every muslim that prayers have a great position in Islam as it is the pillar of Islam and the separator between faith and disbelief.And although this matter is dangerous,it hurts some of those so-called muslims don’t care about performing prayers.Wouldn’t they stop being careless before Allah’s indignation befalls them.

About the manner of praying according to the deeds of the prophet mentioned in the authentic hadiths.After performing ablution,the muslim turns his face and whole body towards the Qibla (Ka’aba) intending by heart to perform the prayer without pronouncing it openly.Then he pronounces "Takbirat Al Ihram" that is to say "Allahu Akbar" raising his hands up to the level of the shoulders then recites opening supplication then Fatiha and some ayahs from the Quran and so on till he terminates his prayer saying the salutation.

Forbiddance of glorifying tombs and making them as mosques as it is a means to major polytheism which is worshipping someone other than Allah.This is what happened in the nation of Noah as the reason of their trap into polytheism was exaggerating in the righteous.So glorifying tombs,building over them and lighting them are forbiddened.

Visiting the graves is divided to three types:1-Legitimate visiting:to remember death and supplicate Allah for the dead person.2-Innovated visiting:visiting for the sake of worshipping and approaching Allah there by getting blessing through the dead person.3-Polytheistic visiting: visiting for asking for needs from the dead person and circumambulating around his grave .
