Remembrance of Allah during Calamities

A very beautiful book in Turkish consists of many simple authentic supplications that a Muslim should daily or occasionally say, based on Quranic and Prophetic texts.

This article contains a brief explanation of the supplication for clearing sadness and grief, " No person suffers any sadness or grief and says: Oh Allah, I am Your slave, the son of Your slave, the son of Your maid, my forehead is in Your hand, Your command over me is executed, Your decree over me is just, I ask You by every name belonging to You that You named Yourself with, or revealed in Your Book, or You taught any of Your creation, or preserved in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Quran the spring of my heart, the light of my chest, the departure of my sadness, the release of my grief but Allah will take away his sadness and grief, and give him in their steady joy. They said, "Oh Messenger of Allah! should we learn these words?" He said, " Yes, whoever hears them should learn them.
