How to Perform Pilgrimage

An overview of the rites of Hajj, Umrah, and Ziyaarah in the light of Quran and Sunnah.

This treatise was prepared by the Agency of Islamic Enlightenment in Hajj. Includes a discussion about those things which nullify a person’s Islam as well as common errors made by the commonfolk.

A book in English presents the common mistakes which some pilgrims make such as their wrong creedal concepts about pilgrimage, their mistakes in circumambulating around the kaabah, walking between As-safa and Al-Marwa, shaving or trimming, standing at Arafah, spending night in Mina and Muzdalifah, and stoning the stones. Finally, it talks about their mistakes in visiting the Prophet’s mosque in medina.

A book translated into Thai contains advice from the head of Thai pilgrimage Mission for the Thai pilgrims in 1428. It includes a description of the Prophet's farewell pilgrimage with some lessons learned from it.
