(1) 1. I (Allah) swear by the early hours of the day,
(2) 2. And by the night when it is stil (or darkens).
(3) 3. (That) your Lord (Allah) has not forsaken you (O prophet Muhammad), nor has He detested you.
(4) 4. And surely what comes after is better for you than that which has gone before.
(5) 5. And soon will your Lord (Allah) give you, so that you shall be well pleased.
(6) 6. Did He not find you an orphan and give you shelter?
(7) 7. And find you wandering and guided (you)?
(8) 8. And find you in need and sufficed you?
(9) 9. Therefore, as for the orphan - do not oppress (him).
(10) 10. And as for him who asks - do not repel (him),
(11) 11.And as for the Favor of (Allah) your Lord (I.e.; The Prophethood, the Qur'an, and your perfect religion of Islam) - then proclaim it.
