(1) 1. In the Name of Allah (God), the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful.
(2) 2. All praise is due to Allah, the (real) Lord (Creator, Sustainer and Ruler) of all that exists (of mankind, jinn, angels, etc).
(3) 3. The Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful.
(4) 4. Master of the Day of (Judgment and) Recompense.
(5) 5. You alone do we worship (and serve in love, faith, and hope) and You alone we seek (and turn to) for help.
(6) 6. Guide us to the right Path (and keep us on it I.e, Islam).
(7) 7. The Path of those upon whom You have bestowed Your favor (of the prophets, the truthful, the witnesses to the Truth, and the righteous), not those upon whom there is Your Anger (who know the Truth and do not follow it and are deviants, obstinate or hypocritical such as the lost Jews and their likes), nor of those who are astray (who are ignorant of the Truth and worship God following only their whims and wishful thinking and wander off into myths and false beliefs such as the lost Christians and their likes).
